Come and join us on a pleasurable event or day trip.

We have enjoyed a number of events and trips within the Bicknacres Villages Friendship Club and would love for you to come and join us.

Once a year we enjoy a day out at different interesting locations, such as our day out in 2025 to Windsor, Berkshire.

The oldest Saxon town in Berkshire
We took time to enjoy ourselves in the old cobbled streets of Windsor, where buildings overhang and its believed to be where Harry Potters Author got inspiration for Diagon Alley. Some browsed and dined there while others visited Windsor Castle on a guided tour.

All before joining the cruise ship for a 2 hour cruise. We settled down with a drink from the bar and enjoyed the finest views of Windsor castle, Eton College, Windsor Race course, Bray Film Studios, Oakley Court and Monkey Island, before returning to the promenade for afternoon tea.

What a wonderful day out.

Trip to Henley-on-Thames

Thirty-four members of the Bicknacre & Villages Friendship Club enjoyed a wonderful day out on our recent coach trip to the beautiful riverside town of Henley-on-Thames.

The day gave everyone plenty of time split up and explore the town at their own pace, browse the charming shops, and relax with coffee and refreshments in the many cafés along the way. Some members gathered to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of Henley’s lovely riverside pubs, with beautiful views across the River Thames.

One of the highlights of the day was a delightful cruise on Hobbs of Henley’s vessel, The Waterman. The leisurely journey along the Thames offered stunning scenery, fascinating riverside properties, and the chance to sit back, relax, and enjoy good company.

The trip was a great success, filled with friendship, laughter, and enjoyment throughout the day. Our thanks go to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a memorable occasion.
